On the 6th of February 2025, Khalid Fadzillah and Rauf Fadzillah from Palindrome attended the launch of the report by the World Bank Group titled Reducing Inequality & Enhancing Mobility in Malaysia held at Sasana Kijang.

Some takeaways from the report:
- Inequality vs. Mobility – Tackling inequality isn’t just about income gaps; economic mobility has to be improved to help bring about real opportunities.
- Education & Wealth Gaps – Limited access to quality education and low wealth accumulation cause many Malaysians to be stuck in the same income bracket.
- Policy Solutions can help – Targeted labor policies, tax reforms, and better social protections can help bridge the gap.
- The High-Income Goal – Without structural reforms, Malaysia might not reach high-income status within a meaningful timeframe.
